Sustainable Tourism

Because Montenegro is an emerging destination sustainable tourism is incredibly important.

The Montenegro Adventure Series is organized to benefit 4 groups of local, Montenegrin organizations:

  • Event Organizers,
  • Tour Operators,
  • Small Businesses and
  • the official Charitable Partner for the Series: Leave No Trace Montenegro.

Every event will have an area dedicated for Small Businesses (a.k.a. small & medium sized enterprises).

This will include:

  • Traditional Festivals,
  • Cultural Activities,
  • Ecological Awareness,
  • Nature Conversation and
  • Local Food and Craft Producers.

Funds raised will be used to organize Leave No Trace training seminars and workshops in Montenegro and to support the efforts to establish a Leave No Trace country network in Montenegro. The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is an educational, nonprofit organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors by all people, worldwide.
