Over the Mountains of Montenegro pairs experienced Balkan climbers with amateurs to transverse Montenegro's breathtaking long distance hiking trails over 3 weekends. Every year the Mountaineering Association of Montenegro opens up their skills in climbing and hiking to the general public. This year they will be teaching novices the basics of mountaineering, as well as leading multiple long distance hikes over Montenegro's beautiful mountain transversals.

Schedule

Day 1 (July 2, 2010): Take 4WD vehicles from Podgorica through Kuci to Rikavacko Jezero

Day 2 (July 3, 2010): Hike from Bukumirsko Jezero through Sirokar and Maglic to Carine-Cafa

Day 3 (July 4, 2010): Hike from Carine-Cafa through Koma and Medjukomlje to Stavna
